Who We Are and What We Do

A community of Christ-followers learning and living the Gospel of Jesus for the sake of others and the glory of God

We Worship

Gathering together for corporate worship as a church is an amazing gift from God and an essential part of our spiritual growth (Heb. 10: 24, 25). As we rehearse the truth of the gospel every Sunday through preaching, singing, praying and celebrating the ordinances of communion and baptism, we believe this is the fuel for living out our faith throughout the week.

We Fellowship

We are exhorted to live out our faith "among believers" (1 Jn 1: 7). The Bible refers to us as members of the body and as part of the body we contribute to it for God’s glory and the good of the other members. As member of Corinth, we don’t want to just be people who attend events, but rather we want to be in true fellowship together by intentionally entering into each other’s lives and encouraging each other to grow in our faith. We want our relationships to be characterized by studying God’s Word together, praying and seeking God’s wisdom together, and caring for each other. The structure we have to encourage this kind of fellowship and community is our Sunday School/Discipleship Hour.

We Serve

As we grow in our faith, a natural overflow is service. Jesus demonstrated “selfless service” when He humbly washed his disciples’ feet and in doing this, he gave us an example as well as a command to “Do as I have done to you” (John 13:15). In light of the example he set, the command he has given, as well as what he has done for us on the cross, we look to humbly serve others out of a love and passion for Christ that flows into a love for people.

We Witness

In light of the Great Commission that Jesus gave the Church in Matthew 28, we want to share the good news of the Gospel with others. As followers of Jesus we are called to prayerfully and boldly tell others about their need for Jesus as their Savior. As a church, we want to encourage and equip each member to actively participate in sharing the Gospel. Additionally we encourage our members to be involved in our outreach efforts both inside our church and in our community
